EKA featured in Energi & Miljö for sustainable cooling work in Big Science
The topic will also be discussed at the upcoming workshop Sustainable Cooling for Big Science at GSI/FAIR.
Energi & Miljö
Interesting article in Energi & Miljö about Swedish company EKA, a member of the Big Science Sweden supplier network, and its work supporting CERN in the transition away from F-gases in large-scale cooling systems. CERN operates around 200 cooling systems, many using F-gases, and EKA has helped evaluate more sustainable alternatives such as CO2 and propane.
Sustainable Cooling for Big Science at GSI/FAIR
The topic is highly relevant for the upcoming workshop Sustainable Cooling for Big Science at GSI/FAIR, focusing on future cooling solutions and upcoming EU regulations on PFAS and F-gases. The event will take place on site at GSI in Darmstadt, Germany.
