In May 2026, Deauville in France will host the 17th International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC). This leading annual conference is the premier global gathering for the accelerator community and is expected to attract more than 1,500 scientists, engineers and industry representatives from around the world.

IPAC is hosted in 2026 by GANIL in collaboration with CEA, CNRS, Synchrotron SOLEIL and ESRF. The conference presents the latest developments in accelerator research and technology, as well as updates on current and future accelerator facilities worldwide.

IPAC brings together the international accelerator and Big Science community, offering an important platform for Swedish companies and research groups to engage with major research infrastructures and key decision-makers.

Networking is a central element of IPAC. The conference includes a large industrial exhibition where companies can showcase products, technologies and services to the global accelerator community. The event offers valuable opportunities to connect with international facilities, laboratories and research organisations.
