Two intensive days at Remote ITER Business Meeting

At the Remote ITER Business Meeting, 7-8 April 2021, ITER technical experts from various fields shared valuable information about forthcoming procurement needs and contracts.

The ITER project is moving forward from the buildings construction phase to the machine assembly phase.

In the opening session, Bernard Bigot, Director General of ITER, gave a status report on the project. Christophe Dorschner, Head of Procurement and Contracts Division, then gave a general overview of ITER procurement activities.

The subsequent thematic sessions focused on business opportunities in specific technical areas, and also included an overview of Fusion for Energy (F4E) procurement activities.
