Precision and adaptability at the core – Heftytec joins the Big Science Sweden network
Joakim Sandberg (Big Science Sweden) and Stefan Plogmaker (Heftytec)
Visit from Big Science Sweden
Big Science Sweden representatives Joakim Sandberg, Mike Olsson, and Frida Tibblin Citron recently visited its new member company Heftytec in Södra Sandby, just outside Lund – ideally located near both MAX IV and the European Spallation Source (ESS).
A profile in instrumentation and optics
“Heftytec has impressive competence in instrumentation and high-precision engineering. This is an area where we see a lot happening right now within Big Science,” says Mike Olsson, Big Science Sweden.
Their strategic location near ESS and MAX IV also gives them a clear advantage in collaborating closely with major research facilities and providing timely, tailored technical solutions.
Heftytec
Heftytec combines advanced engineering with in-house CNC production and flexibility in adapting and customising products to meet specific customer requirements. They also manufactures components and assemblies on demand (contract manufacturing).
The company is supported by key personnel such as Dr Stefan Plogmaker, founder and Senior Engineer at Heftytec, further strengthening its profile in instrumentation and optics.
