Big Science Sweden on a study visit to Cepa Steeltech

Big Science Sweden recently visited the Höör‑based company Cepa Steeltech to learn about its production and technical expertise, gaining insight into its operations and meeting Jennie Hellsten, marketing manager, and Michael Gullberg, head of R&D.

The visit by Joakim Sandberg and Frida Tibblin Citron from Big Science Sweden included a tour of the production facility, where the high degree of automation drew particular interest. Cepa Steeltech also showcased its broad welding capabilities in laser, TIG and MIG, as well as a very well‑equipped tool magazine for punching – resources few other companies can offer.

Cepa Steeltech is a family-owned company within a group that works all the way from component to finished product, with a clear focus on series production. The company turns over about SEK 170 million, has around 80 customers worldwide and delivers a large number of products to Alfa Laval, among others.

During the meeting, Cepa Steeltech expressed a clear interest in the Big Science market and is now investigating the possibility of becoming a member of Big Science Sweden.
