MAX IV’s All Staff Meeting

A Swedish–Danish delegation consisting of Henrik Bak Jeppesen and Katrine Hjort from BigScience.dk, together with Amelie Hallin, Joakim Sandberg, and Frida Tibblin Citron from Big Science Sweden, took part in MAX IV’s All Staff Meeting.

The team had the opportunity to introduce the concept of AIMday Big Science Technology – an event where Big Science facilities, research infrastructures, scientists, and high-tech companies come together to tackle real-world challenges.

The idea is simple: Big Science facilities, such as MAX IV, submit real challenges that are then explored in focused workshops. Once the challenges are published on the AIMday platform, participants from academia and industry can register for the discussions most relevant to their expertise.

For the first time, this will be a joint Danish–Swedish AIMday, and this year’s special focus is on Green Tech Solutions.
