A warm welcome to Annie Ringvall Moberg, new member of the Big Science Sweden team

Annie has a PhD in Physics from the University of Gothenburg, but began her postgraduate studies with 3½ years as a doctoral student at CERN, where she was part of a team working on spectroscopy of negative ions.

Since August, Annie has been employed as a scientist at RISE in Borås, and will now be dividing her time between RISE and Big Science Sweden.

“I’m looking forward to my new role as business developer, working to develop more links between Swedish industry and the Big Science research organisations. I’ll be contributing with my experience, not least from my years at CERN.

“I’ll now be learning more about other international research facilities. It will be both challenging and inspiring to make new contacts and to link the business community with various research fields. This is an exciting task, filled with possibilities.”
