It targets suppliers from CERN Member and Associate Member States, with a particular focus on companies with capabilities in the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of:

• Low-voltage power, control and instrumentation cables, halogen-free and flame-retardant, compliant with CERN fire safety requirements.
• Signal, data, coaxial and optical fibre cables, including multi-conductor and special-purpose assemblies.
• Radiation-resistant cables and materials, together with associated qualification testing for irradiation, fire performance and ageing.

The event will present forthcoming projects, including an upcoming Qualifying Market Survey, and explain how cable standardisation, technical qualification and procurement are managed at CERN.

Afternoon B2B meetings

The afternoon session is dedicated to virtual B2B meetings, providing an opportunity for CERN technical representatives, the procurement team and companies to exchange directly. Following positive feedback from previous thematic events, companies will also have the opportunity to arrange meetings with one another.

The B2B meetings are primarily an opportunity for companies and CERN to get to know each other better. Priority will be given to companies that are new to CERN or have had limited previous interaction with the organisation. Registrations are subject to approval.
