[V 2026/1224] Laser tracker

The MAX IV Laboratory delivers at present the highest performance synchrotron light worldwide. Among many other things, this sets high demands on the accurate placement of all equipment throughout the laboratory. To achieve this, MAX IV has been using laser trackers to establish alignment reference networks, perform fiducialisation measurements and finally to carry out the alignment of all important parts. To maintain our competence, we intend to purchase a high-performance laser tracker. We focus on high accuracy and practicality. The delivery is expected to include: One (1) new portable measuring instrument/equipment of Laser Tracker type with its controller. All accessories needed for typical operation of the instrument in a synchrotron facility, including at least a transport container, 1.5” reflector target, 0.5” reflector target, cables, power supply unit, batteries, and battery chargers.
