All power converters that are used to power various magnets and magnet chains in the FAIR facility require their own power measurement subsystem to provide power with the specified accuracy. In the case of Class 1, the general requirements for accuracy are as follows: stability in the first 1h - 1.5ppm and stability in the first 12h - 3.5ppm and the accuracy for 1 year - 10ppm at nominal current. In addition, the offset temperature coefficient must be? 0.5 ppm / K and the gain / ratio temperature coefficient? 1 ppm / K or? 0.5 ppm / K. The required precision can be achieved using zero flux technology. Such a system is known on the market as a Zero-Flux Direct Current-Current Transducer (DCCT).
