Supply of electricity to the ESRF for a period up to three years starting in 2029

The ESRF will launch a Call for Tender to cover its electricity supply for a period of up to three years starting in 2029. Participants are required to propose "click offers" only ( and not block and spot offers ). Participants must be able to offer for three years, up until 2031. The ESRF's consumption forecasts are: 2029: 48 GWh 2030: 48 GWh 2031: 48 GWh Companies shall be committed to RTE (“Réseau de Transport d' Electricité“), under a balance responsible contract, and will take responsibility on behalf of the ESRF as a balance responsible entity. Note: The price of electricity is the result of price fixing operations on the French electricity free market, to which suppliers apply their fees. This process can only take place after the contract has been awarded, so that the competitiveness of the bids can only be assessed on the basis of the contractual obligations and the application of the fees. For this reason, the estimated value of the tender covers only fees to be paid to the electricity supplier.
