The CFT concerns the purchase of a spectrometer equipped with a time-resolved camera for measurements in the visible and near infra-red spectral range (500 tp 950 nm). The main purpose of the spectrometer is to measure the temperature of the samples using the black body radiation for experiments with laser-heated diamond anvil cells. For this purpose we require a spectrometer equipped with an input for two optical fibers mounted vertically for temperature measurements from both sides and a camera with an dimensions of 1024x256 pixels or equivalent. In addition the system will be used to measure the Raman spectrum of the diamond culet or the ruby fluorescence for pressure determination. The spectrometer spectral resolution shall be a minimum of 0.05 nm. The equipment is for the portable laser-heating setup at ID28 beamline.
