The DC1 casemate shielding contains the chopper 1 and its mechanics. It is connected to the H15 casemate shielding. It assures the biological shielding according to ILL radio-safety note.It allows for removal by the top the chopper 1 for maintenance work.
The DC2-DC3 casemate shielding contains the chopper 1 and 2, and their mechanics. It is connected to the H15 casemate shielding and the guide changer casemate shielding. It assures the biological shielding according to ILL radio-safety note.It allows for removal by the top choppers 1 and 2 for maintenance work.
