The selected Contractor should supply, deliver and install on-site archiving nodes, where all components are certified to work together and with the standard OS for NGAS. In addition, the selected Contractor should provide support and maintenance for the whole duration of the Frame Contract, which is expected to be for a period of up to 5 years (3 as baseline plus 2 optional). This maintenance will be performed not only on hardware purchased by ESO from the Contractor but also on hardware already in use, independently from who the supplier of the existing hardware is. The applicable fees for any maintenance task will be set for in the Contract and will be charged individually against each maintenance task performed.
