RF UPGRADE – SSA 352 MHz – Electrical network modification for the power supply of the new SSA cubicles.

The ESRF is planning to upgrade the storage ring RF supply by installing 10 SSA cubicles (High Power Solid State 352.37 MHz RF Amplifiers - 100kW RF power/ 250kVA Electrical power ). This present call for tender covers the electrical network modification that has to be done to supply the new equipment. The work to carry out concerns : 1/ The building of a new power substation including the supply, the installation, the cabling, and all commissioning test of three 2000kVA 20kV/400V transformers, and a main electrical switchboard (Operating voltage 400V) 2/ The supply, and installation, of cables trays and cables from the new power substation to the RF equipment.
