ESRF ultra-high speed indirect detector microscopes are based on lens-coupling phosphors with a MHz camera, such system will strongly benefit from an adapted intensifier for the visible light emitted by the scintillator. This would allow exploitation of higher spatial resolutions where the efficiency of indirect detectors is limited. Here, intensification of the visible light emitted by the scintillator is needed. A custom-made intensifier solution is required, i.e. compatible with 1.4 and 5.6 MHz acquisition rate (frame rate), 32 micrometer sensor pixel size and an emission wavelength of 420 nm.
