Procurement of IO PIC Local Air Coolers for B11- L5 SIC rooms

The purpose of this contract is to design, manufacture, test, qualify and deliver 10 (ten) water cooled Local Air Coolers (LAC) aimed to ensure the safety cooling function of the 4 cubicles rooms located in the 11-L5-01 area of the Tokamak Complex. Each LAC is designed for a 25kW thermal cooling power. Because of their location and their safety classification, those LAC will be designed to withstand (among other requirements) static magnetic field and seismic event. In addition to these LAC, 2 (two) exhaust fans (designed for less than 1000m3/h flowrate) have to be supplied to provide fresh air in the cubicles rooms. These exhaust fans do not ensure a safety function and don’t need to be designed for accidental situations but for the static magnetic field.
