Preliminary studies for the Construction of a new Data center facilities – Selection of a technical design office

CFT-003092 • Description According to its IT data strategy plan, ESRF will create a new Data Center by reusing the Site Building General Support 2 (SBGS2 - ~700m²) that will need adaptation to host new IT devices, HVAC/Fluids and electrical facilities, storage space and specific computing rooms while taking into account civil works constraints. SBGS2 will be connected to the Process General Utilities building (PGUT) for all the main utilities. PGUT will thus need to be adapted. This CFT concerns the selection of a technical design office specialised in Data Center (Engineering offices for structure, electrical and Fluids facilities) to draw the preliminary technical study and establish the detailed technical program with all the aspects of primary energy consumption, and the implementation of energy recovery systems and system reliability. The selected team should have a perfect knowledge of the rules and regulations in force in building trades in France, and especially an expertise in Data Center construction.
