High-energy beam Transmission (HEBT) is a key component of the new FAIR (Facility for Antiprotons and Ion Research) international research center. The new facility will be equipped with dipole and quadruple magnets for beam deflection and focusing. The following magnetic power supplies are required for this purpose: - 51 Magnetic power supplies for dipole magnets, which are to be used both in pulse mode and in DC mode. 16 different types with output currents of 550-2500A are required, which must be supplied mainly from the 400V level, but partly from the medium voltage network (20kV). The required absolute control accuracy is 1 x 10-4*IN.
