PDS Pyramid Prism Specification and Statement of Work

The requirements, in particular the edge sharpness, as well as the choice of the material are challenging. In order to mitigate the risk and to facilitate the successful production, the work shall be split into two phases. During Phase 1, two proto-type prisms shall be manufactured at a best-effort basis with respect to the most challenging edge sharpness requirement. If the two proto-types achieve compliance with the requirement, Phase 2 can start with the production of four additional prisms. All compliant prisms shall receive an AR coating working in the 1.48-2.31micron range.
