PDS Pick-Off-Mirror RFI Synopsis

The present document outlines the general technical specifications, and draft statement of work for the procurement of the PDS pick-off mirror (in the following called: GC_POM). The GC_POM is a large elliptical dichroic located at the entrance of the PDS. After an internal review process, the PDS optics design has been updated as well as its procurement strategy. Compared to the initial RFI in 2020, which was carried out in the preliminary design phase of the project, ESO will now purchase the individual types of optics
