The project aims to design, develop, and deliver a helium rotary union (HRU) that connects the rotating target shaft (system 1000) to the helium cooling system (system 1010). The next generation of the HRU (ver 2) shall fully comply with the ESS availability requirement.
This procurement handles the raw material for manufacturing of the housing and sleeve of the HRU.
