The call for tender concerns the provision of a high-resolution large field-of-view camera for X-ray imaging experiments at the ID16A beamline. To leverage the ESRF-EBS capabilities in the context of the ERC Brilliance project, aiming to resolve neuronal circuits in large tissue volumes, a large sensor camera is required for rapid, high resolution, large field of view, indirect X-ray imaging. The image sensor must have >4000 × 4000 active image pixels and be of square or approximately square format with a pixel size between 9um and 15um. The camera must have a linear digital signal amplitude encoding and dynamic range expressed as signal/noise of at least 16bits (i.e. 65536 ADU levels) and over this dynamic range the camera integral non-linearity must be <1%. The quantum efficiency of the camera sensor must be >50% at 550 nm wavelength.
