IT-4569/TE/HL/LHC - Supply of CLIQ Units

This Technical Description concerns the supply of 32 CLIQ (Coupling-Loss Induced Quench) units for the High Luminosity Project. Each CLIQ unit includes, among others, safety systems, electronic crates, cabling and a polypropylene film capacitor bank of 40 mF and 1000 V DC. The capacitors are not part of the supply and will be provided by CERN to the contractor. This Market Survey will be followed by an Invitation to Tender that is planned to be issued in Q3 2020.
