Injection Kicker chambers and diagnostic Shaker chambers manufacturing

This CFT cover the manufacturing of 8 injection kicker vacuum chambers and 4 diagnostic shaker vacuum chambers. All vacuum chambers are made by an assembly of an Alumina body (Al2O3 high purity), ~ 320 mm long for the kickers and ~230 mm long for the shakers, on which some Kovar end pieces are brazed to allow the welding of a stainless steel edge welded vacuum bellows, for connection to upstream and downstream chambers. The bidders shall be capable to: - Manufacture the chambers ceramic bodies in a single piece (no glazing is allowed). - Perform the metalisation of Alumina pieces before brazing - Manufacture Kovar end pieces to within a tolerance =< 0.1mm - Brazing of the Kovar pieces to the Alumina chamber body - Supply edge welded bellows, according ESRF specifications - Weld bellows to the brazed pre-assembly - Quality controls including: - Vacuum leak test - Dimensional control
