Implementation of an IT Backup Solution - RFI - PR131558 - ASP

Request for information (RFI) to investigate the solutions available on the market and to identify suppliers that are interested and capable of supplying hardware and software components to replace the currently implemented IT backup solution used at ESO Germany and Chile. The RFI will be released in Q2/2026 to potential vendors in the ESO Member States. Based on the outcome, ESO plans to issue the subsequent Call for tender (CFT) in Q3/2026. The scope of work includes procurement, installation, configuration and validation of the new backup solution that will replace the currently implemented one. The contract is expected to be awarded in Q4/2026, to the Bidder, which has submitted a fully compliant Tender and offers the best value for money for ESO taking into account the quality and price of the offer.
