ID18-EBSL1 Granites

In the context of the brand new ESRF beamline ID18-EBSL1, the ESRF needs to order a batch of 15 complete granite assemblies. These granite assemblies consist of, granite and mechanical parts to be manufactured, and commercial parts supply by the ESRF such as motorized ball screws, screw jacks and rails with carriages. The overall stability of the granite structures, reliability and rigidity of the linear stages is of fundamental importance. As such, the ESRF requires a very high level of competence in the manufacture of large granite parts with demanding geometrical tolerance (flatness 0.05mm, parallelism 0.1), and with abilities in precision rails/ball screws assemblies.
