The ESRF is planning the creation of the new optical hutch for the ID11 Beamline, the project will include the design, manufacture and construction of a radio-protection hutch inside the ESRF main experiment hall and a new lead shielded transfer tube section. The area of hutch is approximately 35m², with a wall lead thickness of 35mm and equipped with two cranes inside. The length of the transfer tube shielding is around 11m, including two lead shielded boxes. The execution studies are planned from May 2026 and on-site works are planned to start in May/June (1 or 2 months) for the dismantling and removal, then September/October 2027 (1 week) for the installation works, and October/November 2027 (1 week) for closing shielding and tube. The radiation test are scheduled in January 2028. Bidders will be requested to accept this planning.
