Contract DescriptionThe requirements for a contract is to undertake Human Factors Engineering (HFE) activities in order to support ITER Organization in the design of the Main Control Room (MCR) and the Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) for ITER Tokamak operations in First Plasma phase (2025). The main tasks are as follows: • TASK 1: Human-Machine Interfaces Assessment - Human Factors analysis of existing ITER HMIs (Operator Interfaces for SCWS, ELEC, CODAC, and CIS) - Updated guidelines, graphical libraries and style guide for ITER HMIs • TASK 2: Large Overview Panels Assessment and Design - Design of Graphical Displays for Overview Panels in T-MCR - Design of Graphical Displays on Overview Panels in MCR for First Plasma • TASK 3: MCR Layout Design for ITER Operations in First Plasma - Design of Main Control Room Layout - Procurement Technical Specifications for MCR • The 14 day period for interested parties to respond to this prior indicative notice (PIN) has now officially closed. • Tender documents distributed to interested parties on the 20th December 2019. • The deadline date for tender submissions is Friday 7th February 2020. • For further information about this tender please send your enquiries in writing to Jongeun.Lee@iter.org copy to Virginie.Michel@iter.org
