High precision components for superconducting undulator coils

Within the superconducting undulator development program started at European XFEL, a study on advanced superconducting undulator coils is ongoing. A common need to all superconducting undulator coils are several high precision components (<0.05 mm):iron yokes, insulation layers to electrically insulate the superconducting wire from the iron yoke, as kapton foils and G10 parts, and spacers to keep the two undulator coils at a fixed distance.
