F4E-OMF-1532 - PROVISION OF NUCLEAR SAFETY INSPECTIONS SUPPORT

The contract is related to the provision to the Nuclear Safety team in F4E of support in organizing and performing nuclear safety inspections, either at the premises of F4E contractors (and/or their subcontractors) in Europe, or at F4E offices (Barcelona (ES) and Saint Paul lez Durance). The services shall be performed in full compliance with the corpus of nuclear safety regulations applied to the ITER project, and can be subject to examination by the French Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN). The subjects to be assessed during the nuclear safety inspection depend on the project phases (design, calculation, qualification, and manufacturing). They shall be as a minimum: - The Nuclear Safety Management (at corporate level and at project level) implemented through the integrated management system; - The qualification of staff performing Protection Important Component and Protection Important Activity; - The management of PIC, PIA and its associated Technical Control; - The propagation of Nuclear Safety Defined requirements; - The subcontractor selection and supervision; - The supervision of incoming material and procurement process; - The analysis of deviation, non-conformity and internal non-conformity; - The management of Nuclear Pressure Equipment requirement (if appropriate) - An assessment of the nuclear safety culture, (when required) The nuclear safety inspections do not consist in assessing the compliance against technical requirements, neither in carrying out a Quality Control check.
