F4E-OMF-1327 - Provision of Metrology Support Services

The Contractor will be asked to perform field surveys, and/or to install networks of metrology reference points. The activities will be mainly carried out in Europe and occasionally outside Europe. Discrete points surveys and 3D Scans will be both used as required. Contractor’s staff, along with F4E staff, will participate to on site survey campaigns that will take place at F4E supplier’s premises or ITER site. The Contractor will take care of any associated cost including, but not limited to, equipment delivery to the site, pack / unpack of the needed hardware, travel and subsistence cost, customs, insurance, etc. During field surveys, an F4E technical representative will coordinate all the activities and will manage all the necessary arrangements in agreement with the Contractor and the manufacturer. During setup and execution of the survey the Contractor shall only relate with F4E technical representative that will take care to maintain all the necessary relations with the manufacturer. At the end of the field survey, the Contractor shall produce all the necessary data to enable F4E to prepare field survey report and analysis according to the Specific Contract.
