F4E-AMF-1428 - Provision of support services for claim risk management and assessment, claim management and adjudication/arbitration support

It is F4E’s intention to conclude a Framework Contract for the provision of Services in the field of the construction of ITER aiming to support F4E in the following areas: 1) Claim risk management and claim assessment – assisting the FIDIC Engineer to consider an early warning or a claim for the purpose of the engineer’s action and/or determination – after receipt of an early warning notice under SC 8.3, or a NoC under SC 20.1 or SC 2.5, including entitlement, quantum and schedule assessment, evidence collection and preparation, and preparation of Engineer’s action and/or determination; this may also include Variation assessment; 2) Claim management – contractor’s and Employer’s claim identification, notification and assessment, including entitlement, quantum and schedule assessment, evidence collection and preparation; 3) Adjudication and arbitration support – assisting the Employer in the preparation of its submissions in relation to a dispute referred to adjudication and/or arbitration, including leading the entitlement, quantum and schedule assessment, evidence collection and preparation of expert witness statements.
