DO-32746/EP/CMS – Supply of Laminated Carbon-fiber Composite Rings and Plates

This Technical Specification concerns the manufacture and supply of 90 flat composite sandwich rings of about 1.15 m maximum diameter and 4.8 mm thickness, as well as ten flat composite plates of 1.3 m × 1.3 m × 1.3 mm. The pieces shall be made in autoclave lamination process from unidirectional M55J/epoxy prepreg. The sandwich rings shall have a co-cured polyetherimide foam core and they shall be cut to their final geometry with a 5-axis CNC milling machine. The first major delivery is expected to take place within three months from the notification of the Contract.
