DO-32083/TE/LIU - Supply of one BGI vertical magnet

This technical specification concerns the supply of one Beam Gas Ionization (BGI) vertical magnet. The magnets shall be 1200 kg of weight and 920 mm long. The coils shall be water cooled and impregnated under vacuum with epoxy resin. The yoke shall be made of laminated steel, magnetic shields shall set on both side of the magnet. Deliveries are foreseen over 24 weeks from placement of the contract.
