Custom made Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) chambers

The manufacture and supply of custom made Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) chambers includes, but is not limited to, the following types of chambers: Type 1 (a and b): UHV Chambers usually based on tubing components including: crosses, reducer flanges, pumping domes and tubes of different diameter and length. Also of race-track, oval and other cross sections. Usually based on ConFlat (CF) flanges (but not limited to). Type 2: Larger, more complex chambers of rectangular or circular shapes with multiple ConFlat (CF) flanges (but not limited to), metal (or elastomer) sealed. Type 3: Chambers including rectangular flanges sealed with vulcanized viton seal or metal (usually aluminum) wire seal. For chambers sealed with metal wire seal the sealing flanges must have a mirror like finish to ensure leak tight seal Type 4: Chambers including edge-welded or hydroformed bellows or similar variation of such bellows, for example, bellows that are welded to tubes. Usually based on ConFlat (CF) flanges. Please observe that the types of chambers listed above shall be considered as type examples, i.e. other types of chambers or components or combinations of the above may be required. Requirements for particular vacuum chambers will be specified in the reopening of competition for individual contracts.
