CFT-2893 Ultra-high resolution 2 axes coaxial rotation stage for spectrographic applications

DescriptionThis call for tender covers the design, the manufacture and delivery of an ultra-high resolution, i.e., minimum incremental motion of 10 nrad, 2 axes coaxial rotation stage, i.e., a goniometer, with a vertical scattering plane which will be used in a two bounce geometry with two separate single crystals. This equipment will be used for spectrographic applications. Maximum dimensions of the body shall not exceed 700 mm height, 600 mm length along the beam and 800 mm width perpendicular to the beam. The distance between the bottom part of the body and the axis of rotation should not exceed 400 mm. This call for tender is dedicated to companies specialized in ultra high precision angular motions mechanics. A schematic of the crystal positions is appended to the present document for details about angles and weights.
