Cft 256 Service Contract for the Testing of VLT/ELT and ALMA Dataflow Software

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, We have initiated steps towards the competitive procurement of a Service Contract for the Testing of VLT/ELT and ALMA Dataflow Software. (see Adv. Info ref. CfT 256 dated 09.01.2020 ). You are kindly requested to suggest companies in your respective Countries, that might be able to do this work for ESO. Please copy in any e-mail also my colleague Mr. Alessandro Martis, amartis@eso.org (cc in this e-mail) to make sure your e-mails will be answered in my absence. You will find attached for that purpose: - the synopsis of the project; - the list of companies which ESO has so far identified as potential bidders. Please note that according to ESO policy, no more than 5 companies per Country should be included in the list. Therefore, if your Country is already represented by 5 companies in the appended provisional list, you are kindly requested to clearly indicate which ones should be deleted and replaced by the newly suggested bidders. Should you not provide this information, ESO may decide this autonomously without any further re-iteration. The same principles apply if the initial number of companies is less the 5 but in combination with your suggestions exceeds this limit.
