CFT-003064 (Technical Assistance for the Survey and Alignment Group)

The Survey & Alignment Group is responsible for the installation and periodic control of the accelerators and beamlines. This CFT concerns the procurement of technical assistance concerning the alignment geodetic support works covering the period July 2021 to June 2025. The external company will carry out works during the machine shutdown periods. The permanent renewal of beamlines will require regular interventions outside of the shutdown periods. Companies must have proven experience in metrology works like accelerators, nuclear reactors, aircraft, and manufacturing assembly lines. The works will be done by survey teams (1 to 4 teams of 2 persons according to planning). The company shall be able to intervene on short notice (2 weeks), for varying periods of time (several days to several weeks), with permanent company staff experienced in high precision measurement and alignment, familiar with levels, laser trackers, software and techniques used in this field. Instrumentation will be provided by the ESRF.
