Broadband RF amplifier

The supplier shall provide one broadband solid-state radiofrequency (RF) power amplifier intended for laboratory, accelerator, and RF systems applications. The amplifier will be used for activities on the ESS elliptical cavities and needs to cover the frequency range of the cavity fundamental passband and be able to excite the trapped high order mode passbands below the cutoff frequency, up to approximately 3 GHz. The amplifier shall operate over a continuous broadband frequency range extending from at least 690 MHz to 3.0 GHz, with wider bandwidth solutions considered advantageous. The equipment shall be delivered fully assembled, tested, rack-mountable, and ready for operation.
