B4C is excluded for this call for tender Please find the main technical requirements: - General: Radiological protection is required due to gamma radiation created during the neutron transport process, each neutron reflection creating gamma radiation. The thickness and the type of protective material depends on the energy of the gamma rays. The protections described in this specification are an additional thick steel plates required to protect people from gamma radiation. - Materials: Standard carbon steel S355w - Approx weight of walls: 110 T - Paint or treatment: Corrosion protection: sand blast and paint (threads to be protected). - After cleaning, apply epoxy primer (Sigmaweld 2 part epoxy weldable primer or equivalent) – Colour: RAL 5005.
