AOI 20-09-02 : The manufacturing of swimming pool housings

There are eleven neutron guide lines feeding the large guide hall ILL7. They are divided into two groups: - The upper group composed of 7 guide lines, known as layer H1, receives neutrons from the cold source. The H1 group is located in a horizontal plane 1.475 m above the ground. - The lower group composed of 4 guide lines, known as layer H2, receives thermal neutrons. The H2 group is located in a horizontal plane 1.125 m above the ground. The guides are mounted in individual vacuum tight aluminum housings. In all guide lines, there are two housings mounted one after the other: C1 and C2. The use of two separate housings facilitates disassembly and alignment operations. This specification concerns the fabrication of 9 C2 housings in aluminium EN AW-5083 H111.
