Ambient pressure cell

This procurement involves purchasing an ambient pressure cell for conducting synchrotron-based ambient pressure XPS (APXPS) measurements. The cell must be capable of heating samples with an integrated near-IR laser while the samples are under ambient pressure conditions. The cell itself is placed inside the UHV chamber at the SPECIES beamline. This tender only deals with the cell itself as the endstation is already a well-established system. Therefore, the cell must have a high degree of compatibility with the existing equipment at the SPECIES beamline. The supplier must provide a full laser heating system that is capable of heating samples in the gas reaction cell under various atmospheres. The supplier must provide the necessary safety and interlock systems, which can be integrated into the SPECIES endstation, so that the laser can be operated according to the safety regulations set by MAX IV in accordance with typical laser safety routines. The supplier must ensure that the cell is compatible with the electron analyser (SPECS Phoibos NAP) available at the SPECIES beamline. The motion and manipulation system is not part of this tender. The beamline has existing manipulators with motors that must be used with the cell.
