[552] Direct Scanning Laser Tracker

ESS is requesting suppliers to submit tenders for the procurement of a Direct Scanning Laser Tracker. The ESS Survey Alignment Metrology team operates an on-site metrology laboratory supporting the entire ESS organization through the construction phase, initial operations, and steady-state operations. Delivering dimensional support for precise assemblies and other geometrical controls using portable coordinate measuring machines up to now, the team is looking for procuring a Direct Scanning Laser Tracker to enhance its capabilities. This equipment must be portable and enable direct scanning dimensional measurements as well as reflector tracking capabilities. Capable also to measure local gravity for levelling purpose, with the possibility to operate on battery, it must ensure to cover large measurement volumes with minimum absolute accuracy. This equipment is required to be fully compatible with ESS metrology software: Spatial Analyser.
