[537] Design, production, assembly, and procurement of printed circuit boards (PCBs)

The European Spallation Source (ESS) is preparing to issue a tender for the design, production, assembly, and procurement of printed circuit boards (PCBs) as part of its ongoing projects in advanced scientific instrumentation. This Specific Advance Notice (SAN) serves to inform potential suppliers of the upcoming procurement and provides a preliminary overview of the services required. The contract will include: • PCB Design Services: Design of PCBs with varying complexity based on project requirements. • PCB Production and Assembly: Manufacturing and assembly of PCBs, including component placement and soldering. • Component Procurement: Sourcing of electronic components with pricing subject to market fluctuations and currency exchange rates.
