[457] IRIS SYSTEM FOR ESS TEST-STAND 4 LEBT

The design, development, manufacturing, documentation, factory tests and delivery to ESS Lund of a single iris system including vacuum chamber, linear motion actuators, blade assemblies and support legs, plus a set of 2 spare blade assemblies (one (1) of the horizontal slit type and one (1) of the vertical slit type). The vendor will carry the full responsibility for the design, construction and testing of the system. They shall provide all the necessary equipment, materials, tools, instruments, facilities and labour to manufacture and test the iris system and demonstrate that the specifications are fulfilled. The tender shall include full technical details on each section of this specification and describe how the company intends to match the requirements. The vendor may propose alternatives with respect to these specifications if they deem them to advantageously provide equal or better performances, e.g., by using some of their standard designs and construction techniques. The delivery of the system will not be considered complete until the following documents have been supplied: • Principle and detailed circuit diagrams of powered parts and electronics • Mechanical production drawings in neutral and CATIA compatible formats i.e STEP • Detailed cabling and interconnection diagrams • User manual with detailed descriptions of the operating and maintenance procedures • Complete part list of power components, printed circuit boards, and other parts • Test results, i.e. protocols of preliminary factory tests including records of measuring in digital format • Drawings and diagrams shall be high quality reproducible copies of each item. • Spare parts list considered essential and quote each item explicitly • All of the above is to be provided in English and in digital format
