[428] Test Stand 4 Solenoid Magnets

The design, development, manufacturing, documentation, factory tests and delivery to ESS Lund of two solenoid magnets with integrated dipole steering coils for both vertical and horizontal planes. The vendor will carry the full responsibility for the design, construction and testing of the solenoids. They shall provide all the necessary equipment, materials, tools, instruments, facilities and labour to manufacture and test the solenoids and demonstrate that this specification be met. The tender shall include full technical details on each section of this specification and describe how the company intends to match the requirements. The vendor may propose alternatives with respect to these specifications if they deem they advantageously provide equal or better performances, e.g., by using some of their standard designs and construction techniques. Workmanship shall be of highest quality and conform to the best modern practice for the manufacture of high-grade machinery and electrical equipment. The design of the solenoids must be conservative, using standard commercially available parts and techniques to insure high reliability and longevity with minimum maintenance. The delivery of solenoids will not be considered complete until the following documents have been supplied:  Principle and detailed circuit diagrams of powered parts and electronics  Full set of mechanical production drawings neutral and AVEVA E3D compatible formats.  Detailed cabling and interconnection diagrams  User manual with detailed descriptions of the operating and maintenance procedures  Complete part list of power components, printed circuit boards, and other parts  Test results, i.e. protocols of preliminary factory tests including records of measuring in digital format, including 3D mapping of the magnetic field  Drawings and diagrams shall be high quality reproducible copies of each item.  Spare parts list considered essential and quote each item explicitly
