Manufacture of a large granite assembly for the ID11 Laue Laue Monochromator. This granite assembly is composed of 9 granite pieces, and it has a motorised vertical movement with a stroke of 80mm constructed by 2 wedge shaped granite pieces with linear guide rails, ball screws, and stepper motor. Very precise machining of the granite pieces is required. Overall size of the granite assembly is 1100mm x 950mm x 725mm.
