3684 - Outsourcing of software development for the Tango community

DescriptionThis specification concerns the outsourcing of software engineering and development works for the Tango Controls Collaboration hosted by the ESRF. It includes the design and the development of various elements constituting the TANGO software framework, its maintenance, and the support provided to the users within the framework. Contracts will be established for three years from 2026 with a possibility of extension for further two optional years. One or more suppliers will be selected who will be asked to provide software engineering and maintenance in one or several of six defined work packages.
