3681 ID11 Double Bragg Crystal Monochromator Assembly

This Call for Tender (CFT) concerns the supply of a Double Crystal Monochromator (DCM) assembly that will be used on ESRF beamline ID11. This beamline will be used for x-ray diffraction and imaging technics. The contractor will supply the complete DCM assembly consisting of all the micro and macro positioning mechanics, a UHV vacuum vessel and a granite support. The contractor will be responsible for the design, manufacture, assembly and testing of the complete DCM assembly (excluding crystal manufacture). The contractor must be able to show that his design will meet the demanding performance of the DCM, and the contractor must have their own facilities for the assembly and testing of the DCM. The acceptance testing shall show that the performance of the DCM in terms of micro positioning and vacuum are within specifications. The contractor must have a very high level of competence in micro positioning mechanics, UHV vacuum technology and cryo cooling, and have a previous relevant experience.
